BOURNE HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA
Welcome to Bourne High School's Drama and Theater Arts Program! The Bourne High School Drama Program produces three main stage productions each calendar year during the months of November, March and April.
Our November production this year will be Lionel Bart's engaging musical, Oliver! Based on the Dickens novel, the story will draw you in with its drama while delighting you with its outstanding musical numbers - Food, Glorious Food, I'd Do Anything, Where is Love?, Consider Yourself, and the beautiful, heartfelt, ballad, As Long As He Needs Me.
Production Dates are November 14,15 and 16. Audition information can be found as of August 1st, on the Audition Information page of this website.
In March, we will again compete in the Massachusetts High School State Drama Festival, also serving as a regional host for the preliminary round of competition. This year’s date for the preliminary round of competition is February 28, 2015. Our entry piece will be selected by the Festival Theater III/IV students sometime in the early fall.
Our April production will be announced on October 1st. Our 2014-2015 school year promises to be an exciting year. We are looking forward to producing quality, entertaining, high school theater for the community to enjoy.
